In my search for good Android games, I’ve noticed Candy Crush Saga staying in the top spots from the Top Free section of Google Play.
This game is using some pretty old gameplay mechanics. There have been dozens of games like this, made in flash or even stand alone games for PC.
But is fun to use touchscreen to play it, it has some pretty fun sounds and graphic elements. Overall is a great game for kids but not very attractive for more advanced gamers.
It has levels as we have in Angry Birds, some tutorials, is very easy to learn to play it. Besides the old gameplay mechanics, there are some special candies that are doing different things than the normal candies. Things like making all candies from a certain color to explode at once.
The levels are getting harder and harder as you advance and it will require a very good intuition at some point. A good intuition for matching the candies and making them explode.
To conclude, the game is not bad but the gameplay is pretty old. Kids will love it though.
