It is sad to see that these 2D isometric games are not available on Androidor iOS: Patrician 3, Pizza Connection 2, or the classic Desperados Dead or Alive.
I can imagine playing any of these games on a big tablet.
Pizza Connection 2, also called “Fast Food Tycoon”.
It would be great for touchscreen.
Some multiplayer features implemented where you can compete with other players would be great.
Pizza Connection 2 was developed by Assemble Entertainment.
This company still exists and you can find their games on Steam.
They have released two years ago, Pizza Connection 3, but this time the game is 3D.
It was very simplified and it was not fun compared to the old 2D game.
Patrician 2 or Patrician 3
Another 2D video game that was very well received by gamers in the early 2000.
Patrician 3 has brought only a few improvements for Patrician 2, both games are excellent.
Regarding Patrician, this game was developed by a company named “Ascaron”, an european company.
This company has produces quite some good games back in the days like “Sacred”, a Diablo dimilar game, hack and slash.
However, the company does not exist anymore today and because of that, Patrician 3 on PC will all we will every have.
Desperados – Wanted Dead or Alive.
Beautiful 2D graphics, it would be very fun to play it on a tablet or smartphone.
As we saw with The Hobbit Kingdoms, 2D games are awesome to play on a touch device.
And probably easier to develop than 3D games for mobile, which are very few on Google Play.
Probably we will never see Patrician 3, Pizza Connection 2, Desperados on Android or iOS because of the legal aspects.
However, something similar, some clones for these mentioned games would be great.
