Patrician 3 windowed mode, high resolution?

Can Patrician 3 be played in windowed mode?

The short answer is, no, you cannot play this game in windowed mode, by default.

There could be programs that allow you to do that, but most of the time it’s a struggle to set them up.

However, there is one way to play Patrician 3 in windowed mode, which is easier to setup.

You can install the program named “VirtualBox”.

This is a program that will emulate another operating system, on your current operating system.

Note that VirtualBox does not interfere with your OS in any way, it will be like a normal program that is installed on your PC.

Once you install VirtualBox, you can install Windows XP for example or Windows 7, and install there Patrician 3.

You can then run VirtualBox on another monitor.

VirtualBox runs windowed mode, like a browser window, so you can play the game in that way.

Another solution would be to get an old computer and set up it like a retro games computer.

To run Patrician 3 and other games from 2000-2007-2010, all you need is a normal single core processor, about 2GB RAM, and an AGP video card.

A Geforce MX 4 with 64RAM will the job just fine.

You can enjoy other great games like Stronghold, Pizza Tycoon 2, Divine Divinity, Max Payne 1 and 2, and so many other games.

I’ve made such a computer that can barely run Chrome, just for games from the golden age, and it’s amazing.

Regarding Patrician 3 high resolution, you can download this pack Link, and copy the files over the default ones.

For a big 24 inches monitor, the best resolution for the game is 1280 x 720px.

This way, you can see the buildings and graphic elements bigger.

Normally, do not play the game on the default resolution of 1920 x 1080px.

As with that resolution, everything will look very small, but you will see more from the map.

Overall, 1280 x 720px is the best resolution to play Patrician 3 on big monitors.
