Follow these steps in order to download and install Angry Birds GO Mod APK on a Nexus 7 tablet.
Download the game from here (requires Android 2.3 and higher. [48.9 MB][apk]).
Save the .apk file on your PC and then copy it to your Nexus 7 (using the USB cable).
Install this app from Google Play, “My-Files”.
After you have copied the Angry Birds GO .apk file, open “My-Files” and locate the file of the game.
Click it and the game should start installing.

I’ve tested the game on my Nexus 7 and it is playable.
However, it has some delay from time to time, the image gets stuck for a second or so.
Also, the graphics don’t look that great.
This is why the game isn’t compatible with Nexus 7 and it is not available on Google Play if you browse the store by using this tablet.
Probably Rovio will optimize the game and it will be playable in better conditions in a future update, mostly because Angry Birds GO looks like it can be handled by Nexus 7 with no problems.
Asphalt 7 or NFS Most Wanted, other racing games can run with no issues on Nexus 7 and those have much more advanced graphics.
