Bioshock Infinite. Probably the best game of 2013, amazing story, feeling, graphics and level design.
DMC Devil May Cry. Amazing gameplay, level design, music (the OST is insane with those dubstep songs).
Aliens: Colonial Marines. Much hated by gamers but considered a great game by those that really love the Alien franchise. Interesting gameplay and great because the fact that is about Aliens and most of all, we get to see the actual base from the Aliens movie (1986).
Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. Interesting gameplay with next gen aspects (the fact that we can stir a ship), naval fights, the missions offer diversity until a point where you have to grind gold/resources to upgrade your ship. Not a bad game but not the best either.
Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. Not as good as Wings of Liberty but a decent game (talking strictly about the single-player campaign).
Path of Exile. The best hack and slash of the year. A decent experience, good level design and game mechanics. No real reason to continue playing after finishing all the chapters (for some players).
Lack of good games in 2013, these are the best games of this year in my opinion, mostly single-player, if we don’t take Hearthstone into count.
