Selle SMP TRK saddle review

Selle SMP TRK saddle review

Here is my Selle SMP TRK saddle review, after using it for about 3 months.

I bought this saddle at the beginning of this summer in order to make the bicycle rides as comfortable as possible.
And also because I was starting to experience some pain between the legs, inflamed prostate.

The Selle SMP TRK has a very big gap in the middle, so the idea is that there will be almost no contact with the groin area.

This is true in theory, but I didn’t managed to get rid of the pain caused by riding a bicycle.

If you consider getting this saddle just because of the big gap in between, it won’t be that helpful.
What I did was buying a very big, wide and comfortable saddle instead, a saddle that has no gap in between.

That saddle feels like staying on a couch, and the pain is gone.

If that’s what you’re looking for, get a very wide saddle, the pain will be gone.

Selle SMP TRK saddle review, design, comfort

Overall, Selle SMP TRK is very comfortable, one of the most comfy saddles I ever sat on.
The design is also impressive, using high quality materials that look like natural leather, the logo from the back will surely attract views.

For longer rides, if you’re in good health (except the issues from the first part of the article), this saddle might be great for you.

Even on longer rides, it will still feel comfortable.

Regarding the design, it looks good, like an expensive product, very fancy.

The price

Selle SMP TRK is not cheap sadly.

A new one can cost about 130$.
In my case, I bought a used one that was in almost perfect condition, only some markings where a bit faded.

I paid for it about 40$, which is a great deal.

Look on local ads websites like craigslist or ebay.
Maybe you will get lucky and find one cheap.

Final conclusion.
I would recommend this saddle, it feels and looks great.
However, if you experience pain between your legs and you think about buying this saddle just for that, it will not help you much.
