Risen 3 Titan Lords fixed camera mod settings?

Risen 3 Titan Lords can be tweaked to be played having a fixed camera mod settings.

To be able to play with a “fixed camera”, follow these steps.

Go to “Options”, “Gameplay”.

Set the “Camera Speed” to “0.4”.

If you do that, the camera will become really rigid and you won’t be able to easily move the camera freely and experience that console camera feeling.

“0.4” seems to be the best value.

If you set the value lower, the camera will become too rigid from what I’ve tested.

If you se the value higher, the console camera feeling will still be there.

There is no option to get rid of the 360 degrees camera.

It seems that all the Piranha Bytes games released after Risen 1 is using this 360 console camera.

The games are mostly targeting the console audience, because that seems to be the most profitable market.

It’s sad to see that they do not offer a fixed camera setting as we had in the old Gothic games or in the first Risen.

A fixed camera offers a better atmosphere, offers better combat gameplay as we have in Dark Souls.

Hopefully this setting mentioned in the article regarding the Risen 3 Titan Lords fixed camera mod settings is helping you to enjoy the game more, keeping the old Piranha Bytes feeling.
