Razer Abyssus middle click not working?

Razer Abyssus middle click not working?

One of the most common click issues on Razer Abyssus is the middle click not working.

This issue happens most of the time for all the Razer mouses that do not have extra buttons, so the user needs to click on the scroll middle click.

Even today, Razer has mouses without extra buttons, like the Razer DeathAdder Essential.

Not having an extra button behind the scroll button is a huge deal.

The mouses that have that button behind the scroll button can just keybind it to act like middle scroll click.

In case that button breaks, you can always just use the normal scroll button for middle scroll click (you can still use the mouse).

Clicking on the middle button most of the time to open browser tabs or for anything else will result in damaging the middle click and in the end this will not register clicks anymore.

Personally, I have used a Razer Abyssus for about 7-8 months and never experienced any issue until two months ago.

The mouse started to register the scroll clicks much slower, sometimes I had to press the button 3-4 times to make the click work.

What can you do if the Razer Abyssus middle click is not working?

It is not really possible to repair the issue since the bottom cover (the feet of the mouse) cannot be removed without damaging them.

This is a basic thing with the Razer mouses, in order to open the mouse case, you need to remove the bottom covers.
Once peeled off, they cannot be put back as they were before.

Since this mouse does not have extra buttons, you cannot reassign other button to work as a middle click.

The best thing you can do is go to with the warranty if you experience the middle click not working.

Usually all Razer mouses have 1 year warranty and if you are lucky, even 2 years.

Finally, you can just buy a brand new one, and this time invest a bit more as the modern Razer mouses that are cheap, are using pretty mediocre materials.

They are not comfortable overall.
