Playing World of Warcraft almost without using the forward button, Razer Naga trick

You can play World of Warcraft almost without using the “forward button”, “w”. You can do this by using a Razer Naga mouse and by keybinding the auto-run option from WoW to a side button.

I have auto-run keybinded on the “6” button from the Naga’s side. So when I want to move forward, I just press “6”. When I want to stop from running, I just press “w”, once. It is much easier to play like this because you will have more freedom to use your fingers by not having to keep “w” pressed all the time.

I’ve noticed that by using auto-run, I also tend to keep right click pressed less (to move the camera), so it is much more comfortable to play like this.

If you don’t own a Razer Naga, you can keybind auto-run to “q” or “e” or whatever button you want and do the same thing. I don’t recommend to keybind auto-run on “w” though. There are times when you will still use “w” to move forward, in small areas and on under huge pressure like serious raids and arena.
