Are you looking for a Nike Monarch alternative?
Here are my opinions on what shoes you should get that will be as close as possible to the Monarchs.
All in all, Nike Monarch is a pretty unique pair of shoes and there are not many like it.
However, here is a list of almost similar shoes:
Nike Defy All Day
The shoe soles are not as big as on the Monarchs, but the design is pretty similar.
They are also look to be made of ecological leather.
Puma Graviton
Similar design but not made from eco leather.
Other than these shoes, you can always search for “sport shoes made from ecological leather”.
Usually pick the black color and your size.
And you will get results that could be similar to the Nike Monarch, also in the same price range.
Another choice should be to get trekking shoes.
These shoes have a more rigid shoe sole.
They are bigger and more reliable.

From my personal experience, I’ve used my black Nike Monarch shoes for about 4-5 years, only in the days when it was rainy outside.
Because of the high shoe sole, they keep the water away.
Also the ecological leather provides great protection against water / rain.
However, they are not waterproof.
If you are looking to get a similar pair of shoes, aim for something that is black (will not matter if they get dirty or scratched).
Look for something reliable with big shoe sole.
And if they are waterproof, that could be a bonus.
If you have more money to spare, you can look at top brands like “The North Face” or “Salomon”.
However, if you are lucky enough, you could find even another pair of Nike Monarch.
When I’m writing this article, at least in my country, I cannot find anywhere a new pair of Nike Monarch on any online store.
