Here is my Auron WoW transmogrification that I’ve gathered many years ago, when playing Wrath of the Lich King.
Final Fantasy X fans, more precisely Auron’s fans will be happy to hear that there is a “gear combination” that can be used for transmogrification in World of Warcraft, a gear set that is trying to replicate Auron’s outfit, the legendary character from this game.
The only problem is that the outfit isn’t red, it is brown instead, and is leather, so only rogues and druids can use it, but also other classes can equip it too for fun or RP.
The gear looks good on night elf males because these characters are pretty tall, like Auron is.
Auron WoW transmogrification gear set:
Armor:
Head: Rohan’s Mask
Shoulders: Soul Eater Shoulderguard
Cloak: Cloak of War
Chest: Insect Vestments
Gloves: Rough Climber’s Grips
Belt: Arctic Belt
Boots: Black Chitinguard Boots
Other pieces are not required like legs or wrists as they will not be displayed with this gear setup.
Search for these items online, they are not hard to get in the game.
Weapon:
Vengeful Gladiator’s Greatsword
There is no weapon in WoW that looks like Auron’s katana from Final Fantasy X.
There are some katana looking weapons, but all are too simple. The PVP weapon mentioned here is the best choice. The downside is that neither rogues or druids are using two handed swords for normal gameplay in WoW.
You can find all pieces on wowhead along with instructions of how to get them.
Some are very easy to get (from leatherworking, they require cheap materials), others are from quests or dungeons.
Probably Asmongold would rate this transmog set as bad/10, but it might be fun to gather all the gear and make your character look like Auron.
Gathering transmog sets can be a fun thing to do in the current state of World of Warcraft.
