The PVP part from Timeless Isle is very fun.
First thing to do is to get this item: Censer of Eternal Agony. This item will give you a buff that will make you hostile to all players, both Alliance and Horde.
With the buff up, when you kill a player, you will receive one “Bloody Coin”. These coins can be exchanged later for a nice mount. Also, you get achievements by collecting them.
If you play on a non-pvp realm, to get other players with PVP enabled, either scout the island for players that might really be with their PVP status on or you can participate at killing rares. When fighting a rare, if you go in melee range, you will get hit by AOE and all players will instantly get their PVP status enabled. You can hunt them all like this.
Also, with the buff up, all players will be able to attack you and some might even do that.
It’s really fun on a non-pvp realm because players are usually wearing PVE gear and it’s much easier to kill them.
For PVP realms I guess there are plenty of opportunities to get into fights.
There is even an item that can disguise you into a mob that players are usually killing.
But the basic idea is to follow the killing of rare mobs and to get players with their PVP status on.
As a hunter, I usually get the buff and place the pet in the middle of the road. Some players might attack it.
