You can make gold by crafting “Angerhide Leg Armor”, “Ironscale Leg Armor” and “Shadowleather Leg Armor”.
These are leg enchants and are needed by Agility/Strength dps and by tanks. I’ve noticed that the “Shadowleather Leg Armor” are selling better because there are more rogues/hunters/ferals/enh shamans than “strength” classes.
To craft any of these enchants, you need one “magnificent hide” and one “Spirit of Harmony”. The hide can be obtained from 20 “exotic leather” (you can craft 1 per day), or you can just buy the hide from the Auction House. On my realm, a hide goes for around 100 gold.
To get “Spirit of Harmony”, you can do dungeons (motes of harmony are dropped by random mobs), or from PVP. 4000 honor points can be exchanged for one “Spirit of Harmony”.
The hard part is that in order to learn these three recipes, you need to have honored reputation with “Golden Lotus”. The easiest way to get honored is to farm the Zandalari Warscouts. Here is a guide.
These mobs can drop an item that rewards 1000 reputation with Golden Lotus.
I’ve managed to make a few thousand of gold like this, I know is not too much but it is something.
