Karazhan Chess tactics, event solo alliance, horde?

If you are after getting the companion pets from Karazhan (Raiding with leashes 2) and you want to solo all the place, you might get stuck at the “chess” battle.

But don’t worry, here are some very good tips that will help you to pass this fight in no time.

Alliance / Horde, it doesn’t matter. Both factions have the same units and abilities.

Follow these steps:

1. Move the pawn that stands in front of your king. This should be the first move.

2. Move your King in the place where the previous pawn was standing. This will allow you to move the king if he stands in fire. This is very important. Your king must survive or you lose the fight if he dies. Every time you see that he is standing in fire, move him asap. Cancel the unit that you are currently controlling and control your king.

3. Move the pawn that stands in front of your tower unit. Doesn’t matter which tower unit, maybe the nearest one.

4. Move your tower unit up, then right diagonally and wait. Use the “3” ability once you see enemy units coming. This is an AOE ability, the most powerful from the fight.

5. Move your tower facing an enemy unit so it will auto-attack.

6. Remember to move your king when he stands in fire.

7. If your first tower dies, do the same steps with the second one.

If you use your tower units correctly, you should decimate the enemy units, really fast.

Forget about the chess rules for moving the units, they don’t apply here. There are no ways to skip this fight, enable easy mode or disable the cheating (fire).
