Windows 7 has a built-in small program that is useful to set notes on your desktop.
How to use it?
Click on the Start button > search for “Sticky Notes”, you should see a yellow icon. Click it.
Sticky Notes should start. It looks like a small yellow widget that will appear on the desktop.
You can write things into it.
The only issue is that it has an icon in the taskbar and it cannot be removed.
Even if you restart Windows, the notes will remain (be saved) and Sticky Notes will auto-start with Windows.
