Samsung Galaxy Mini are pretty bad, reasons to not buy one?

With a low budget, Samsung Galaxy Mini is a good deal for those that are interested to buy their first Android smartphone and try the basic Android applications.

But why not to buy this phone?

The battery. The phone lasts around one day and a half if you use it for making one or two small calls. It needs to be charged daily. With the screen always on, it lasts for 6 hours or less.

Android applications. Those applications that require a high amount of free space cannot be installed on the Samsung Galaxy Mini that has only 181 Mb real internal space. With high amount, I mean around 20-30 Mb applications.

Besides space, this phone cannot run applications that are using fancy graphics. Video games mostly.

It has no “Flash” and the Adobe software is not officially supported by this device. YouTube videos can still be played using a dedicated application that is already installed on the phone.

With 279 Ram memory, the phone will become slow if an animated wallpaper is used or 4-5 applications are running in the background.

Last reason, Angry Birds, the classic game, is becoming laggy after the first stage of levels when there are many elements on the screen. Mostly all the games that are on par with Angry Birds regarding graphics, eg. “Cut the Rope”, are laggy.
