These are the specs for this laptop:
15.6 inches display, i5-4200M 2.5GHz Haswell Processor, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, GeForce 820M 2GB video card.
The specs are more than enough for simple tasks like running movies, browsing the web. Can work even for video editing but it will be slower than on a PC and also it will produce a lot of heat.
When the processor is at full load, the fans will start to work faster, the machine will produce more noise and heat.
I had a similar laptop from Lenovo since about three years ago and it has worked flawless, no errors, no major issues.
Since it doesn’t have an SSD, it will be slower. If you have worked on a PC or laptop that was running on an SSD, going to an old hard drive can be a big inconvenience. But again, for normal tasks, the laptop can work even with a classic hard drive, non SSD.
Drivers
You can download all the drivers from here. You can find drivers for both Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1, which is great. Most of the recent released laptops don’t really have drivers for Windows 7 or older operating systems.
