If you want to reset the Fuser Kit for a HP Color LaserJet 8500/8550, follow these steps.
Press the “menu button” until you see on the display saying “Resets Menu”.
After that, press on the “Item” button until the display will say “Reset fuser life count”.
Press the “select” button in order to reset.
Press the “go” button. The display will show a message: “Ready”. That is all.
