We all hoped until the last second that we will get some scenes with Frank, at least some flashbacks or some dialogue, spoken by Kevin Spacey. But we got nothing.
The ending was anti-climatic, it ended bluntly, without giving us Frank for the last time or some insane revelation about him.
But it ended with some interesting concepts. A possible nuclear war, the dialogue between Claire and Petrov was insanely good. Petrov saying that the sun will never look the same again. What was interesting was how Petrov responded with calm.
We also have a few interesting mysteries, like with who Claire got pregnant, how that she is with child, and also the demonic poem from the child’s room.
Has Claire lost her mind, or this was all her all along.
Hunger for power, pure evil. Remember also the last scene from episode 7, “life is about a dream, if you see a crocodile, don’t forget to scream”. This empowers the idea that Claire is pure evil.
This whole season was quite surreal, it had some very interesting concepts and overall it wasn’t that bad.
