Google Fit settings for no Internet?

Google Fit settings for no Internet?

Here is everything you need to know about using Google Fit with settings for no Internet connection.

Google Fit works even if you don’t have an active 3G or 4G internet connection.

However, in order to make it work, you will need to have the GPS option active all the time.

Other than that, follow these instructions to set up your application.

Start “Google Fit”, go to “Settings”, slide to “Google Fit data”.

Enable: “Activity detection”.

“High accuracy mode”: disabled.

That is all.

You need to be sure that the GPS service is active on the phone.

You don’t have to start the app or do anything, Google Fit works by itself and will record your walks, bicycle rides or running activity.

If you can get a 3G or 4G connection on your phone, Google Fit will work much better, meaning that will record your activity much more accurate.

However, we all know that keeping the “GPS” option active will consume the battery of the phone.

In some cases, it is best to turn the “GPS” location off in order to save the battery, if you really need it.

Besides Google Fit, there are other apps that track your movement activities like Strava, Map my Ride, Mi Fit and so on.

Google Fit used to be great in the past, it was a very simple app, but currently they modified it, and it seems a bit more complex than it should.

Hopefully now you know everything you needed regarding Google Fit settings for no Internet connection.
