Instead to get a camel mount you need to dedicate alot of time, they are very rare. Very rare.. there are some items called Mysterious Camel Figurine that will spawn randomly in Uldum.
Once you got one Mysterious Camel Figurine, then you will get teleported somewhere, and you will need to fight a “boss”, but is doable if you know what you’re doing.
He will drop the camel, there are: Reins of the Grey Riding Camel, Reins of the Brown Riding Camel and the third Reins of the Tan Riding Camel.
Also you get that achievement, One hump or two.
Anyway with some dedication, after you ding level 85, you can start spending time in Uldum as it is one of the coolest zones in wow cataclysm, and with some luck you will find that stone and get your camel.
As a tip you can try to create a macro like: /target Mysterious Camel Figurine and keep flying, but that if you really want a camel.
