How to find the required drivers for Windows 7 32bit or 64bit?
Personally, I had some issues with an Asus X55V laptop today.
Asus X55V has drivers only for Windows 7, 64 bit.
This is marked on the DVD that comes with the laptop.
If you install Windows 7, 32 bit, some important drivers like the LAN or the VGA driver will not appear in the list of the DVD that contains the drivers and you won’t be able to use the laptop.
So in this case, Windows 7, 64 bit is the operating system that you will be able to install, besides Windows 10.
On the DVD that comes with the laptop, you will easily find all the drivers required for Windows 7 (64bit).

Finally, the issues with the drivers can be easily avoided if instead of Windows 7, you install Windows 10.
Windows 10 will come with all the important drivers that are needed for the laptop to run in normal conditions.
Another tip regarding this old laptop.
If the DVD drivers installation process stops for no reason after a reboot, start all the process again.
For me, the second time when I ran the drivers install from the DVD it worked fine, unlike the first time.
Last thing, if you install Windows 10, the laptop might not work that great since it’s using old outdated hardware that might not be sufficient for this operating system.
Still, it should work for YouTube, browsing and basic work.
